Dr. Kim Ledermann is dedicated to helping patients feel heard and understood while finding answers to complex pain and sleep issues that are often misdiagnosed. As an orofacial pain, TMD, and dental sleep medicine specialist, her highly specialized approach is also deeply personal. She has a speech-language pathology background that informs her diagnostics, and she’s focused on identifying the root cause to restore function and improve lives. Collaborating with medical and allied health providers helps Dr. Ledermann ensure patients experience comprehensive, whole health care. She is a trusted provider for both patients and referring doctors with her clinical excellence, strong leadership, and compassionate care.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Ledermann is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves traveling, experiencing new cultures, and believes that some of life's greatest joys come from new experiences and meaningful connections. She is also passionate about giving back through volunteer and mission work and has a special place in her heart for animals.
Earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Ledermann graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She practiced both private and nonprofit general dentistry before finding her passion for relieving orofacial pain and sleep disorders. Holding a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and advanced training in oropharyngeal dysfunction, she has a unique understanding of airway health, swallowing disorders, and neuromuscular function.

Shannon Bates is passionate about helping patients live their best lives. With a strong clinical foundation and evidence-based approach, she delivers thoughtful and compassionate care to every patient. With years of experience, she’s perfected her assessment skills and discovered a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She delivers individualized, collaborative treatment in sleep medicine and chronic pain management to improve lives.
Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Minnesota, Mankato, and completed her Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Alabama. With eight years of critical care nursing experience at Methodist Hospital, she is invested in her patients. She has a special passion for sleep medicine and chronic pain treatment and is continually pursuing training in the latest treatments and techniques.
Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and living an active lifestyle. Whether she’s participating in sports, enjoying time at the lake, or exploring new activities with family and friends, she values connection and balance. She has a natural curiosity and love for learning that fuels both her professional and personal growth.

A Minnesota native, Dr. Britney Green uses her passion for dental care as a tool to better the lives of her patients. She loves working with children and adolescents to establish a harmonious relationship between their teeth, jaw, and surrounding muscles. This reduces the risk of TMJ dysfunction and orofacial disorders into adulthood.
A University of Minnesota graduate, Dr. Britney earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. She practiced general surgery in the Twin Cities and actively sought out opportunities to grow her skills in sleep breathing disorders, TMD, and orthodontics.

With decades of experience, Dr. Mora Cervenka is committed to delivering exceptional care in treating TMJ disorders, migraines, and sleep-related breathing conditions. She walked through her own experience as a TMD and migraine patient and understands that pain well. With a thoughtful, evidence-based approach, she uses her own experience and advanced treatments to help patients feel better.
Dr. Cervenka graduated Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors in Biology from the University of St. Thomas. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. There, she completed externships, a mini-residency, and received a scholarship award in oral pathology. Pursuing advanced training, she attended the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and continues extensive education in orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine.

Orofacial pain specialist, Dr. Roy Hakala, founded Minnesota Craniofacial Center for TMJ & Sleep Treatment to help patients live better and feel better. With many years of experience, he is invaluable as a consultant in TMD and obstructive sleep apnea cases.
Dr. Hakala earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He’s been serving patients in the field of TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnea for many decades.
